The Naturland organic farm Karg in Kronungen near Schweinfurt is a family-run operation that has been managed organically since 1990. A wide variety of crops, such as food grains, potatoes, onions, and apples, are grown on the farm’s arable land. The farm also has its own flock of laying hens in a mobile chicken coop for the production of fresh organic eggs. In its farm store, the farm offers not only its own products—such as bread from its own bakery—but also a selection of regional organic products from partner farms.
